I am a autodidact and I trained
myself in this direction since I was able to use my fingers.
Apart of my earlier employment as a designer for a large enterprise, I had
the possibility to make illustrations and cartoons for magazines and
advertisement. I had my own cartoon page in the austrian "Gastro"
magazine starting from 1991.
In 1993 I made over one year the Cartoon illustrations for an advertisement
of the Cooperative Bicycle in the magazine "falter". For the
Internet cafe "s-20" I developed a mascot for their homepage and
for various of flyers.
For the "Young
Generation" I made Cartoons for postcards. In the context of the
national council poll 1999, I created a Comicstrip (blue bear and propeller)
to the SPOe Parliaments Club, which was worth its own article even to the
austrian magazine "format" in the number 37/1999.
Since 1999 I am also creating animated gifs and at last, I won the
prestigious Grand Prize of the "Gif Battle 2000", organized by the
"Animated Gif Artist Guild".
